Yes we do have a right as we have ambition and are moving forward
This isn't potless brighton with no ambition anymore remember,we have spent quiet big so far and should be doing much better this season.Not to mention we should have carried on from the end of last seasons good results.
People on here need to realise the ambition which lies ahead and stop thinking of what we have mostly been like.
So by the same logic Mickey Adams should have been sacked in his first season during his first spell rather than being given time which lead to our success?
He did exactly what Slade has done and has massively changed the playing staff without the instant success too, the main difference thou was that the fans were just happy to have the team back in Brighton rather than demanding instant success from a lower division than we are in now.
We do not currently have the facilities to support a Championship team at Withdean, we do not have the crowd to help pay the higher wages needed to bring in the higher quality players we need to gain promotion and stay there, we do not have a group that top players would want to play at every week and this will only change once Falmer opens, we are deluding ourselves if we think differently.
We were too successful too early on our return to Brighton, and we had no way of sustaining that momentum, Falmer may give us fresh momentum, but may not produce instant success, we need to remain patient.
In regard to Slade, there are obvious signs of improvement in the playing style from previous seasons, we look a better side even if results so far haven't gone for us, but give it time. I trust Slade to cure the ill discipline and we will climb the table.
Sacking the manager after a few results have gone against us hasn't worked in the past, so why should now be any different now?

Due to our position in Div 1 we are nearer The Conference than the Premiership but hope it will not be true for much longer.

In terms of facilities, maximum crowd capacity, potential income, etc, your spot on.
But that will all change when we move into Falmer, when hopefully our on the pitch exploits will also match the improvements we experience when we move there.

But since we're on the subject, Slade's record ain't that good after a summer of spending, so if it's broke when do you fix it? When it's too late if you listen to some. We got there just in time last season; but if repeated e.g. results continue to be dire and Slade goes post Xmas, then that's still another season wasted potentially and frankly, I'm running out of life following this club and waiting for things to be delivered so I'm all for focusing minds and making a decision now if those closest e.g. Bloom think it's just not happening!

Err, no Sir. Whilst we may infiltrate your site for banter/piss taking, bullshit isn't our style. Probably some kid got all excited/pissed off/talked to an older person who said it to him, but will be banned by 10.01 tomorrow if said press conference doesn't happen.
Personally, if we were in the same situation, i/we would be calling for the managers head, but way before Xmas. If you're still in the shit then, it maybe too late to do anything about it. It's an unenviable quandry.

I hope that Slade is given longer and he would enhance his chances and also win back the dressing room by dropping Murray on a permanently basis. I understand that this would take bollocks but the guy is a f**king s**t and is determined to relegate us. Saturdays game was a prefect example of this.

how many peeps on here are managemant of any kind and, of those how many have seen a managerial colleague sacked inside of 6 months of signing a full time contract? before you shoot me down in flames i obviously know football is different, but the point i want to make is how many people employed as a manager have you seen working as best they can with the tools they have, only to be fired for poor performance only months into a 2 year project?
