I know it's only 1-1 and all that, but at this moment I can't help wishing I wasn't into sport at all. You can understand why these plastic idiots around the country support Man Utd can't you?

Is that the same ankergren who made some great saves, including an almost certain goal in the first half?

Russ has just told me Albion fans were singing this at Ipswich , we need a consistent keeper who doesn't do howlers

Good job we got rid of Darius Henderson. If Millwall had anybody better they might have won.

I don't think such a keeper exists. Every keeper will do howlers once in a while. They will naturally come more frequently in teams that are lacking in confidence, or form.

After a decade of alternating, more or less, relegation escapes and promotion battles, I'm not sure the BHA community is prepared to mentally deal with 12th-14th-9th-11th-13th for months, if not years, at a go.

Table is settling down now.
Teams that we have lost to above us, teams we drew with around us.

Gotta say, well done palace. <washes mouth out with soap>.

We miss what Bennett gave us. The sooner Buckley gets fit to play that role, the better.
We are not a bad side, but it is increasingy obvious that we DID lose TWO great players in the close season. AND haven't adequately replaced them.

When we are allowed to play our passing game, (Cardiff), we can look great, but we have to be able to earn the right to play that way, and in this division we are light on the kind of players who can earn that right; i.e. enforcers or ridiculously talented.

Ankegren is getting a lot of stick, but from what I have seen, we don't cloe players down quick enough when they approach our box, giving them too much time to either play the killer pass, or get off an "amazing" shot.
The players need to think, and move quicker, and if they cant, then I'm sur Gus will move them on when he has the opportunity. He can't be blind to the areas where we are failing to keep up with the pace of thre game.

...the last 10 minutes... the 80 minute mark... this is becoming an issue.
Is it a concentration thing that can be trained out of the players?
Is it a fitness thing?
Is it a madness thing?

It's not all bad, it's not all doom, an away draw is NEVER a poor result. But we do need to start winning soon.

From the highlights on SSN;

* Shocking pen
* Soft pen to start with
* Amazing save from Ankergren first half, awful miss on the follow up
* Decent finish from Nooney
* Good strike for their goal. From Casper's point of view, I'd file it under 'might have done better' rather than 'howler'.
