Why did a compromise need to be reached? The only.people it seems who want a compromise are the racist gammons and Karen's. How disappointed most of the vultures must be that they've got the maturity to put it behind them and show that they have some decent, hard-working and real supporters of football. Still, I don't expect any mention of it at all in tomorrow's media on TV or in newspapers. The only bitter and twisted ones are the cancerous gutter press.

Lol, Millwall were clapping their players for not taking the knee. It's amazing how MSM spins this.

The Millwall supporters club explained the situation really well, they support Kick it Out and anti-racism campaigns, but not BLM as a political movement.

I think the banner last night was the right one, and the Millwall fans supported this course of action, you can support Kick it Out without the tained / negative connotations of BLM which to many is synonyms with defunding the police.

It's worth remembering that even though a vast majority on this board wouldn't boo the knee, a majority of people IN the country don't support the action. This contracts to the overwhelming tolerant nature of the UK.

You can, but I don’t see anyone claiming they are victims of anything. I also don’t see a protest against systematic racism anymore, just provocation. Discrimination is best tackled through education and by meeting it head on, as happened at PSG last night. Worth a lot more than banners and trying to wind up people whose minds won’t be changed in this way.

I usually avoid the politics threads on NSC like the plague but what I don't understand is why Millwall fans think that taking the knee is about supporting BLM (the political movement)? It's clearly a symbolic gesture against inequality and I very much doubt the EFL or EPL would support any political movement at the start of every match like that.
