I don't think the Market Porter is as good as it once was, in both range and quality of beer. The Royal Oak in Tabard Street (I think) used to serve a very nice pint of Harveys, so I'm not convinced of the old "Harveys doesn't travel well" excuse.

I have no idea...I am going on my own, so I will probably have lunch at Borough Market, on my own , and then wander the streets, looking for soul food and a place to eat.......

I did indeed, and today I have been afraid to pass wind for fear of releasing a torrent of liquid faecal abuse.
