The Pommelers Rest, on the Tower Bridge Road/Tooley Street junction, is Wetherspoons.

Is Tower Bridge in London ?

I think there are 2 bridges in London - London Bridge (D'oh - obviously !) and Tower Bridge.

It is a common misunderstanding that both these bridges are the same bridge. But I can confirm that they are in fact different ones.

However, as far I as know, there is only one pub in the London area - the previously mentioned Market Porter.

Just gone by the Market Porter, haven't been in there since about 6AM (yes AM) in 1977. Maybe I should try it Saturday.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that due to the fact that The Market Porter will probably be very very busy on Saturday with loads of half-witted NSCers, it might be a good idea to try out one of the numerous bars in the surrounding areas. These bars also serve alchohol and beer and are very similar to pubs.

Try 'em, you might like 'em !

How will I know which bridge is which ? It's all very confusing and I don't want to have to talk to any of those Cockneys. I've been told they all speak in rhyming slang and are related to Dick Van Dyke.

They also wear suits adorned (great word!) with pearls.

A warning for all NSC'ers planning on going to the Market Porter this Saturday. I went to the Market Porter last night and today I have the shits.

Did you drink the Ousewater? I've long maintained it's not as nice in there as, say, the Robin Hood in Brighton. Travels badly.
