Hang on a sec. Yes it's f***ing disgraceful but there were Brighton fans singing about Instanbul last time we were up there AND worst still regular posters on this board bragging about it. So before you lot get on your high horse just remember every club has their fair share of wankers.

Your right, there was. Comparisons are often odious - but a good number of us in attendance that day showed our strong disapproval/disgust at the time the 'chant' took place. Additionally, at least one of the people on here (who tried to defend their actions) actually made an unreserved apology. Can you imagine your average 'Wall 'supporter' showing their feelings of disgust for the Istanbul-based shit that's predictably wheeled-out every time they play Leeds? Me neither. Admittedly, a large minority of Leeds regularly give it all that vile Munich '58 shit - so they're just as bad in their own way, I guess. I don't want football to be dumbed-down to the point where polite applause is the only acceptable form of crowd participation: but surely we've gotta have some limits?

I was at a game in december where a group of Albion fans were singing songs of Virgo in the 120th and chanting about the Millennium stadium, which is all fine and well when it's banter and meant jokingly. But that's not what was happening with these fans, they were aggresive and argumentative, I was thoroughly embarrased to be associated with them. But there's nothing you can do about it, everyone knows that Brighton fans are, on the whole, a brilliant group of people and barely any trouble at all.

Ahhh you poor didums. Did you go home and tell mummy that her little soldier was next to some very argumentative bigger boys at the match.

FFS fella, grow a backbone. What's wrong with a bit of aggression? The more football is getting happy clappy 'lets all be mates with everyone', the less fun it is.

do they? or is that just a common misconception partly due to the past decades Hooliganism on Millwalls part?

From personal experience yes. Only once I have been subjected to any sort of physical attack at a football game and that was at Millwall. It was a few years back when we played them on a Tuesday night when the what is now the JPT was a 2 leg event. We lost the game and the tie despite playing the better football. At the station afterwards I was talking to my mate about how unlucky we had been when from no where one of their 'fans' pushed me over and punched my mate. Lucky a copper was on hand and he was pulled away before he could do any more damage.

Though I have not personally had any trouble at Elland Road, the last time I went which was a few season ago, was chatting to some of their fans in the pub and even they were saying how big a firm they had etc.

Okay I might have been unlucky at Millwall and the Leeds fans might have been playing up to their image but I do not think so. You have not heard of other teams having the same arrangements for their play-off games that Leeds and Millwall have had.

I am not being funny mate but people like you contribute as much to footballs sterility as Obramovich or Sky. The same people who hide their snobbery against their own people very poorly, and would be wanking all over hot house nasty atmospheres on the continent if they paid a game a visit on their easyjet minibreak weekend with their vegetarian girlfriend, that they could bore all their friends in the office shitless about when they got home.

How much is a jar of face paint nowadays?

Your talking out of your arse. You don't know me & if you did, you probably wouldn't be coming out with such absolute tosh. Or maybe you would? Anyways, I couldn't give a f***. You just carry on believing what you want to.
