That photo reminds me of being near Death Valley a couple of years back and seeing an F-15 go past in front of me at a similar height, scared the bejesus out of me.

Obviously a horrible period in history, but if I could time travel I’d love to be on the ground with a view of part of the Battle on 15 Sept 40. Goring sent over 1,120 warplanes, it proved to be a disaster against far fewer Allied fighters. The 1969 movie captures this I think.

A Spitfire flew over Seaford at 1030 this morning.

Genuinely had a Spitfire fly right over house about 6.45pm this evening.

We had 4 jets fly over this morning, didn't see them and various plane types suggested, but they were bloody loud, went one way towards Eastbourne then about 30 seconds later flew back the other way
