I was at the game and can do a short summary of the game if anyone is interested. If not then be polite won't you.
Were you the one making loads of notes and sticking two fingers up behind Dowies back??? Good game though Eh. Milan were rather good.

Yes I have!! Plus a shower with equal parts of Ajax and Vim.
Not bad for someone who lives in the area. Were you Gellarse of the Phalarse then? or did we inspire you to return again sometime. I honestly think that the thrill and excitement of your adopted home town is driving you to support its local team and you are very near to your transformation. Maybe the shock of October may well seal your desire to become a PALACE FAN`ATIC`.:salute:

Easy victory to Inter Milan according to ceefax, only to be expected really if you're honest.

Just right of the halfway line sitting in the stand opposite the AW. That was my view.

Sat next to Ward..very slow..too slow.

Macken was next to him...he looked off the pace. Johnson was sat below me for the final 5 minutes. He was signing autographs, asked me if I wanted one. I said............

NO!!!!

:drink:

PS McEnuff was crap.

Adriano was awesome!!!! (We have a similar player in CKR you have been warned)

Was you the one rocking backwards and forwards in your seat!! I wondered who the nutter opposite me was!!!

I thought Ward was pretty good but can do better.

Macken was slow and not match fit IMO.

Mcanuff showed a few neat touches but was not upto the standard I was expecting.

We have enough players of decent quality to fill their spaces if they don`t perfom.

A similar player to Adriano? and you still can`t beat the likes of Oxford. We have been warned to take something to stop us laughing our nuts off come October thanks! :salute:

Adriano a reserve. :dunce:

O.K, O.K, you got me. Adriano might not be a reserve...

But how many first team players did Inter leave at home? How many of the players that started at Selhurst will start Inter's first competitive game? Not many. Therefore, you played Inter's reserves. No shame in that. I'd imagine they're of a slightly higher quality than Oxford...

Having spoken to a season ticket holder at smelhurst he said forwards and defence ok but midfield nowhere to be seen.

Planning the long ball game this year then?

They had what I would call players you`ll find sitting on the bench if not in the starting 11. They were awesome and the result was a credit to Palace seeing as we sholud have had a blatant Penalty on the 85th minute mark as Perry Mlikins will have no problem agreeing with me on and for once it wasn`t AJ being toppled over.

No he wasn`t. Milan were just too good and his ability will show on the 6th August. He will sort CKR and co out come October.
