And after reading their message board and seeing their confidence in winning without having a clue about us. With virtually all predicting a win and hoping to play a 'big team' in the next round, I hope we absolutely obliterate them.

Whilst not a fan of Boro, I went to a mates wedding in a Middlesbrough workingmens club many years ago. His bride was Roumanian and her family had dressed up beautifully, so had all the local women. Hardly fair to say that we chucked the Charlton game, I just felt like it was their Cup Final performance and we were just not clinical enough, possibly as it was our first game back from the WC.

Even tougher when one of them is injured and not playing, I will be interested to see how Akpom plays as I have him down as the laziest player I have seen in all the years I’ve watched the Albion. To say he was useless would be an understatement. The only Albion player I have ever booed at the end of a game

In the old days, yes. Not any more. PL clubs have 25 man squads and important players are regularly rested in cup games. Also, we aren’t looking to sell anyone. If another club wants one of our players they have to pay Tony’s price. I think everyone understands that now.
