Hardly celebration unless I missed something. Just a congratulatory pat on the back after a spectacularly classy goal!
Perhaps 'celebration' was taking it a little far, still found it a bit odd.

Bearing in mind the game was up then - I'd say it was good sportsmanship with a player acknowledging a great goal. It wasn't as though he joined in the huddle or anything!
Exactly. Hardly celebrating, just showing appreciation of a good goal.

Maybe we'd prefer it if that Boro player had gone all Joey Barton and tried stamping on his shin next time he challenged Mac Allister?

It’s really hitting home hopefully, just how impressive our 5-1 win with 4 or 5 fringe players in it was no…? Smashing it up in the championship at the moment & we went away and did that…

I’m pleased for Carrick. He was a very talented player and as a coach wants to play the right way. Boro were all very complimentary about us after that game. Wouldn’t mind them being promoted
