Bobby Zamora was a big part of Micky Adams success here. I don't mean to take away any credit for the fantastic rebuilding job and team spirit he instilled here but (always a but ) he ain't as good a manager as some on here think. What has he done since he left? two relegations, a promotion with a very strong side for the Championship and a reasonable half season at Coventry followed by a shaky one so far this season. Great recent manager?...that would be SC, 10 times the manager MA is, just imo like.

The day I mellow about the Palace poof is the day he is out of football totally, so I don't have to see his face again. My two most sickening moments supporting this club have involved him: the DEBACLE at Palace, and when he came back with Reading and got CLAPPED

He should have run the gauntlet of hate, instead our pathetic crowd applauded a Palace man who had got us relegated and then jumped ship at the first chance. SHOCKING!

I tend to lean towards believing the rumour that DK didn't try to stop him leaving and wanted the compensation. Can't blame him under those circumstances can you, IF it's true

Considering he had to replace an ENTIRE squad when he got here, ie he had to sign about 20-30 players himself, he was bound to get a few wrong. What manager wouldn't? The fact he transformed us from laughing stock to champions in 2 years is a MIRACLE, and anyone who says the man is not a legend should be BANNED

He kept on about 3 players from Horton's team and didn't renew the other players contracts.

He brought in a fair amount of crap in the first Withdean season and at one point took a lot of stick about being a clueless Northern Monkey.

And also, if taking a club that is on its arse to a position where it could march to two consecutive titles, is 'good', what pray tell would constitute amazing?

By taking the EXACT same Fulham side that he inherited more or less and was proven at that level, added Bobby Zamora (which I believe was Mr Knight's find NOT Adams) doesn't make him the greatest manager on the face of the planet.

Hardly rocket science is it!!

Also don't forget the season we won the 4th division Adams was the only manager in the ENTIRE league to spend any money (100k on Zamora) pre season.

Adams wasn't and isn't a great manager as is being proven at Cov at the moment.

Oh and he IS a class A cock (did I mention that?)!
