Fantastic bloke ... this man done it all with f*** all money.

Adams ignited this club alone with his super knowledge!

MA is a legend , no doubt. But as for "f*** all money", I am sure the wages of proven players like Watson, Carpenter, Oatway, etc weren't small. And the fee for BZ was bit higher than most other 4th division clubs could manage.

His "super knowledge" consisted of players he'd worked with before, a massive amount of enthusiasm and a crass naivete which was a laughable joy to behold.

I didn't blame him for leaving; he got a better offer; we've all been there.

Still a legend.

It said on the tin manager Jimmy Melia so he was manager and thanks to him we got to the FA Cup final

And relegated from the top flight division in the same season - not the trait of a top manager I'd say.
