Hungry Joe said:Ernest, if you tar every person who leaves a one job to go to another to further their career as a traitor then that makes 99% of all those in football 'traitors'. Grow up. I'd have loved to see you walk alongside Mickey at the Falmer march and try and pin that one on him.
Ernest said:He left us for the assistant managers job at a poor Premiership club so he is KING RAT
Waterhall Wizard said:He was offered the manger's job at Leicester but persuaded the Foxes' board to appoint Harry as manager. This was with the understanding that he take up the mantle of boss after a year with Harry going up stairs. Micky wanted more time to concentrate on coaching at that time.
Aren't there any newsagents looking for paper boys in Hurst? You could earn some pennies and have less time to scrawl your ignorant crap over this board. (and I would say that to your face)
Ernest said:If KING RAT was such a Brighton hero he could have turned down the Leicester job and stayed with us, we were top at the time and it was only thanks to Super Peter Taylor that we went up as champions.

He got left high and dry and had to accept Hull in October. 2 weeks later the Assistant Manager did stand down but it was too late for Taylor thern.

Fantastic bloke and fantastic manager, shame our chairman gets all the credit, when this man done it all with f*** all money.hutchings (48) said:I was listentening to Micky Adams summarising on 5 Live last night. You know, I'm not sure I am over him yet. Anyone else feel that way?
I think he was the best manager we have ever had - who knows what he would have gone on the achieve had we had a proper ground. Might even have emulated Mullary. He likes to get his teams playing footbal, you get the feeling whenever you hear him talk that he knows the game inside out and then some, and his passion for the game is infectious. Above all, he is a man of integrity - not many people you can say that about in the game, is there? He calls it how it is and doesn't try and spin his way out of situations like Fergie or Wenger. He had a great raport with the fans, and while I couldn't make the demo back in October, the pictures of him standing shoulder to shoulder with those wearing the stripes will live long in the memory.
Unlike other managers we've had since Micky who do a bit of punditry, I am still interested in what he says, whereas I'm quite happy to turn off if Taylor or Coppell are co-commentating. I just expecting him to still be wearing the Seagulls crest whenever I see him.
This is'nt to say I'm anti-MM. He's doing as well as anyone else under the circumstances and HIS tactics and HIS loan signings will keep us up this year. Unlike others on this board I am behind him 100%. But Micky ...........
