Micky Adams' fantastic tactical decisions this year (in no particular order)

...was absolutely the RIGHT thing to do. I'd take that one off your total, personally.

Don''t agree. Lynch got the arse with Adams after the JPT game at Northampton when he played and was outstanding.

He was then dropped by Adams and replaced by an unfit Hawkins.

So much for 'keep the shirt' policy Adams is supposed to favour.

Big mistake.

I'd say that a lazy sod, with a dreadful attitude, who's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is, is a liability that can have an even greater cancerous effect on the dressing room morale if left unchecked. Unless of course you're simply thinking that picking anyone else might be better than the current dreadful team. Which is always daft.

Anyway - I suspect the idea that Adams and his team aren't quite pulling up trees is maybe becoming reasonably apparent to many by now, tbh. But not many people are being overly concrete on whether the club should exercise option a) of sticking with the relegation-bound weekly tedium on offer or b) face the real prospect of having to pay three managers at once.

Good thread this. Hammers home just how baffling some of his managerial decisions have been this year. I'm an Adams fan and want him to stick around but.....Jesus H. Corbett.

Has he had a stroke or something? What happened to the tactical genius who won us two back to back titles? Who remembers his 4-5-1 with Zamora on his own up front, two classy wingers played on the correct side, sucessfully converting Gary Hart into a wide midfielder etc etc.... seemed like such a touch of genius then, now it's like he's on a one man crusade to single handedly destroy the team.

How come we can all see they are such poor decisions yet Adams, who manages for a living, doesn't?

Or are we all wrong?

Look at the squad list then the the current league position, then ask yourself the question again.

22 Bought four " Championship" standard players ion the close season and rarely plays all four.

23 Has no clue what his best midfield is and thereby confuses his players

24 Manages to get so many loan players that the home grown players must lose morale.

Great thread. Why not slag off the whole team in one go. While we are at it shall we write to the FA and apply to be in League 2 next season and give up for the season.

I know this site is about having an opinion but pretty much slagging off everyone is ridiculous.

25 - Taking off Mcleod against Peterborough when he was murdering them down the wing and by far the best player on the pitch at the time.

That is crap. McLeod did very little against Peterborough except put in two really good crosses and had just returned from injury so was probably not match fit. But this thread is all about ignoring the facts and attacking Adams so I suppose it will be allowed to count.

No way, the second half Mcleod was on fire, the only player we had that was running at thier defence, we took him off and then defended til the end of the game. I know we got a point out of the game but it just seemed very negative at the time.

I disagree that McLeod was on fire. He put in two really good crosses but that was it and as he had just got back from injury was possibly not match fit. On the other side we got a point at the team who are fifth placed and unbeaten in about 12/13 games so how anyone can complain about that game is beyond me.

I don't want to argue, i'm only telling it as i saw it, i couldn't believe it when we took him off, Peterborough were there for the taking that night.

21.
After the Man City game when Anyinsah caused havoc up front, he was then benched as he preffered to play a defender as a sole attacker.
