Why will it be great? It will be great when Labour win the next election and then suffer an internal war between the luvvie leftie Londonite Corbynistas and the moderates.

Partridge (in the form of Madeley) in a heated tête-à-tête with the Strikemeister on ITV this morning, worth the licence fee alone.
These ad hominem attacks are becoming more commonplace. So this is the thread you've chosen to embarrass yourselves on this morning
Well when you don't actually give your view on anything and just post a one line 'funny' insult, then run away when asked, it does tend to stifle debate, exactly the same way you trolled the Brexit thread yesterdayThese ad hominem attacks are becoming more commonplace.
I like Madeley. Shame he doesn't get more airtime on radio or TV.Partridge (in the form of Madeley) in a heated tête-à-tête with the Strikemeister on ITV this morning, worth the licence fee alone.

You'll get an 'ironic' thumbs up in a minute.Well when you don't actually give your view on anything and just post a one line 'funny' insult, then run away when asked, it does tend to stifle debate, exactly the same way you trolled the Brexit thread yesterday
So, let's try and find out what your actual position on this is. What do you think about what Mick Lynch is doing and, more generally the upcoming strikes and the Government's reaction to them ?
One of the interesting things about party conference season is how Labour is always portrayed as being at conflict and the Tories as unified when it's nothing of the sort. The Labour conference is where policy is debated and decided, therefore of course there will be robust discussion, disagreements, and different points of view, whereas the Tory conference is just self-congratulatory jingoism. Labour's relatively democratic approach to decision making actually unites them as a party far more than the "internal war" the media likes to portray, and far more than the Tories on most issues. The Tories just do it in private (or they used to anyway, not so much anymore). It will be great when Labour win the next election and then suffer an internal war between the luvvie leftie Londonite Corbynistas and the moderates.

So tell me, for how long have you been a patriotic, shining beacon of hope?It will be great when Labour win the next election and then suffer an internal war between the luvvie leftie Londonite Corbynistas and the moderates.
Are you a tad more provocative than usual? These ad hominem attacks are becoming more commonplace.
Sharon Graham needs to remember that while there are 7 million trade union members there is an electorate of 47 million, most of whom don't care about the unions and a good 10 million who actively despise them. Labour will not be irrelevant if they are in power, and can only start to repair the damage if they get elected.Sir K has upset the masses....
Sharon Graham, leader of Unite the Union, which has more than a million members, said Labour was "becoming more and more irrelevant to ordinary working people".
The TSSA Transport Union, of which Mr Tarry is a former member, said Labour was "deluded" if it thought it could win the next election "while pushing away 7 million trade union members".

I think this might be termed as 'an own goal' in the football parlance.
Plus - there will still be a lot of Union members who would rather see a Labour Government in power than the current bunch of shysters for the overall good of the country - and will vote accordingly.Sharon Graham needs to remember that while there are 7 million trade union members there is an electorate of 47 million, most of whom don't care about the unions and a good 10 million who actively despise them.
