Thanks alot Comedy Steve.
I truly enjoyed his performance this evening, some fantastic scenes in there. My favourite had to be the Yahoo using, paprika using, Rose' drinking etc man. Also loved the jokes about the knife in toaster and mobile at petrol station:laugh::laugh:

Also loved the holiday bit:lolol:
Would definately recomend it to anyone intersted in going to future shows

Loved it  The hour FLEW by. Class act.

Not sure if the girl that yelled 'We've paid twelve quid for this' when MMcI was about to say his farewells was a plant or not. I like to think not. Either way, added another ten minutes and a lot of further laughs to the proceedings.

Quality entertainment

This show was IMMENSE. McIntyre was SUPERB. Its beyond me how someone can stand up in front of over 500 complete strangers and talk and tell jokes for over an hour without a single hitch or bad spell , ad libbing along the way as well.

The material was strong with many stand out laugh out aloud moments.

The whole audience was pretty much is fits of laughter from start to finish.

I like McIntrye so much as he is such a warm, enaging bloke. You just cannot help but like the bloke. He does not resort to spiteful insults or humour ala Norton, he does not resort to f's every other word, he is just a really likeable bloke with spot on observations on life.

" Can I go now please ? " , genius.

He was on the top of his game tonight.

9.2

We were discussing this on the way home. He just a genuinely funny bloke without trying to be funny. He's obviously very clever at dictating the way he rolls into gags and even when he didn't have a link he made a joke out of it (Mobile phones!).

As others have mentioned the leaders of their type sketch was genius. Was skeptical about whether I'd like him or not last night as I didn't think a great deal of his DVD but have found him funny on Mock The Week and other bits of stand up I've seen of his. But he was cracking and well worth the *we've paid twelve quid for this* I paid.

He's on at the Dome for FREE on Tuesday night. Anyone else going to that?

Michael McIntyre will hosting his very own BBC 1 primetime show this Spring where he takes to the road visiting well-known venues around the UK showcasing the very best in stand-up comedy. The show features both up-and-coming stand-ups as well as established names who will headline each show. For free tickets to see the recordings, send a stamped addressed envelope to Brighton, P.O.Box 21042, London N1 1WZ (maximum of 4 tickets per person.) (NB. Demand will be high so not all applicants will be successful). See Off The Kerb for further information.

A bit late now for the free tickets, but if you turn up on the night early, chances are you'll get in (trust me)

I'm going to see him at the Dome tonight for his new TV show, not sure how many people know about it so might be worth queueing if you haven't got a ticket. Doors open at 6.

Pleasure everyone.

yes, Russell Howard is doing a secret gig (possibly - he sometimes doesn't show) at Komedia this Thursday and I'm definitely on trying out some new bits.

If you liked Michael's stuff about 'Portslade unfortunately' I helped work with him on that, backstage, about ten minutes before we started!

But HANG ON one moment, aren't you doing a ONE MAN show NEXT month? Was that also meant to be a SECRET GIG?

You mean my one-man-show on May 21st? At Komedia? "Stephen Grant - Made in Brighton"? A collection of stories and observations about this wonderful city?

That's not a secret gig. It's just very poorly advertised
