Superb. Comedy Steve - cheers.
Loved it The hour FLEW by. Class act.
Not sure if the girl that yelled 'We've paid twelve quid for this' when MMcI was about to say his farewells was a plant or not. I like to think not. Either way, added another ten minutes and a lot of further laughs to the proceedings.
Quality entertainment
I like McIntrye so much as he is such a warm, enaging bloke. You just cannot help but like the bloke. He does not resort to spiteful insults or humour ala Norton, he does not resort to f's every other word, he is just a really likeable bloke with spot on observations on life.
He's on at the Dome for FREE on Tuesday night. Anyone else going to that?
Michael McIntyre will hosting his very own BBC 1 primetime show this Spring where he takes to the road visiting well-known venues around the UK showcasing the very best in stand-up comedy. The show features both up-and-coming stand-ups as well as established names who will headline each show. For free tickets to see the recordings, send a stamped addressed envelope to Brighton, P.O.Box 21042, London N1 1WZ (maximum of 4 tickets per person.) (NB. Demand will be high so not all applicants will be successful). See Off The Kerb for further information.
A bit late now for the free tickets, but if you turn up on the night early, chances are you'll get in (trust me)
Pleasure everyone.
yes, Russell Howard is doing a secret gig (possibly - he sometimes doesn't show) at Komedia this Thursday and I'm definitely on trying out some new bits.
If you liked Michael's stuff about 'Portslade unfortunately' I helped work with him on that, backstage, about ten minutes before we started!
