No. I think, that for all his problems, he was a genius and would rather people mourned his death than mourning someone like Goody.
He had lots of problems but that was mainly down to his success. He was a star at 5. What kind of a childhood did he have? He tried to regain his childhood in his later years, becuase he was surrounded by yes men that told him it was a good idea, and because he was famous and rich people thought they could get money out of him.
All very nice.
Should I feel bad for him that he had problems, or perhaps more for the less successful people out there that had difficult childhoods that didn't include piles of dosh and adulation - yet didn't fiddle with kids and get their faces f***ed-up or say they are Jack and The Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White or Peter flippin' PAN?
