Michael Jackson - well said that man

Some people on here need to wake up and smell MJ's Macauley Culkin-ridden crotch! The whole farewell thing was a nauseating work of fiction - Having given her four hour eulogy about her and Jackson, Brooke Shields later admitted she hadn't had any contact with the bloke for many years. Sharpton was an embarrassment, the Wacko family (most of whom can't stand to be in the same room as each other - or MJ when he was alive) united in 'grief' and wearing those ridiculous outfits complete with sunglasses etc. The frickin kids being utterly exploited was an all time low- 'blanket' coverage we could have done without.

It is my humble opinion that the only people who take umbrage with O'Reilly's words are deluded imbeciles who are unable to differentiate between the fake world of 'celebrity' and real life.

This coming from a man who repeatedly accuse american military of shooting unarmed nazis after they surrendered (it was nazis shooting unarmed american soldiers)

Unfortunately this is true. After the D-day landings, Allied soldiers were finding themselves coming under increasing fire from German snipers who then promptly surrendered after running out of ammunition or being caught.
This annoyed General Bradley so much that he ordered the summary execution of captured German snipers for a short while.
It's something that's been greatly overlooked and ignored these days.

Understandable though, in a war.

Perhaps I'm remembering it the wrong way, or something, I remember watching a video online from I think MSNBC where one of their hosts was highlighting O'reilly making some similar mistake on a show, apologising for his mistake, then making the same "mistake" again on a second show. I've been trying to find it but can't at the moment. I thought I had it bookmarked somewhere, but apparently not.

Bill O'Reilly is without a doubt the biggest wanker on TV. He has no respect for others with different opinions from his own and his response to people that want to argue with him, or give a different opinion, is to shout them in to submission. It makes me laugh when he actually does enter an argument and is losing, he just cuts thw other person off the show.

The man has an agenda and will distort information to make it fit in to his ideals. People like him are dangerous as unfortunately many are not able to see through his pathetic rants.

US TV presenter Bill O'reilly has sparked outrage by launching into a bitter tirade about Michael Jackson on his nightly news show - calling the outpouring of grief since the star's death "pathetic in the extreme". Bill O'reilly who presents The O'Reilly Factor on America's Fox News channel, used his Tuesday night programme to discuss Jackson in the hours after the music legend was remembered at a memorial service in Los Angeles.

O'Reilly criticised the singer's legions of fans for publicly mourning the star - insisting the "adulation must stop".

He says, "It is basically grandstanding and pathetic in the extreme. Yes, the man was an all star entertainer, but that's it. Enough with the phoney platitudes. His incredible selfishness spending hundreds of millions of dollars on himself while singing We Are The World should make any clear thinking American nauseous. (And) Jackson's interaction with children were (sic) unacceptable for any adult."

The outspoken TV presenter went on to slam Jackson family friend Reverend Al Sharpton for the comments he made during the memorial service, criticising the civil rights activist for praising the Thriller hitmaker's ability to transcend racial boundaries.

He adds, "Why is Al Sharpton making this a racial deal. Jackson bleached his own skin and then chose white men to provide existence for his in-vitro children. To hear Sharpton speak today, you’d think Jackson was Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Why is he being held up in the African American community as a pillar of Black America when he bleached his skin?”

And O'Reilly didn't stop there - he also attacked the American media, calling news reporters hypocritical in their coverage of Jackson's demise.

He adds, "A cowardly media will exploit any event for ratings. Remember the same people extolling Jackson today were the same people giving his child molestation trial gavel-to-gavel attention. And after Michael Jackson was found not guilty the American media did not exactly elevate him to hero status. But now that he's dead, he's a hero. How does that work?"

:yahoo: spot on.

I think you'd have to be black to understand what Michael meant to black people espicially at the time he was starting and at his peak
ps correct me if im wrong but isn't michael on the guinness book of records for most charitable singer

Nah, he's in the book for being the biggest weirdo and most famous nonce.

Also for selling lots of records to people who invested their faith in a weirdo, and now have to defend him to they are blue in the face.

oh.... and not forgetting some black people who will defend EVERY miscreant person they regard as a black 'social leader', despite the odds that they committed some heinous act (e.g. OJ Simpson, who had tremendous enthusiastic support when accused of being a tribute-act for Jack the Ripper. Man they even cheered him back to LA with his police escort when he was trying to do a runner!).

Aha!

[yt]vf8oOU0wk7k[/yt]

I think he is perhaps confusing the events you talk of, with a specific event in which it was the other way round (nazis killing US soldiers). One off perhaps a mistake, but if you get severely dressed down for making a particular mistake, would you make it again?

Maybe I am being harsh to suggest Diana did nothing, but ultimately she never worked a day in her life (as far as I am aware, could be wrong). I

You are wrong. She worked as a nanny/nursery nurse when she hooked up with Charles.

As for the comments on Wacko nonce - spot on.

You are defending a weird f***ing nonce. You know nothing, except you like the way he sang and danced, yet you support him tirelessly. :bla:
THAT is pathetic.

The quote that liam82 repeated above, just about nails it - "deluded imbeciles".

That is exactly correct.

Now go and do one, like a good little nonce-lover.

You might make a little mental note for what the whole thread is about, while you are licking your computer screen.

:lolol: you another deluded imbecile then Walkers?
Like thinking you own that Beatles disc ( :nono: )
No. I think, that for all his problems, he was a genius and would rather people mourned his death than mourning someone like Goody.
He had lots of problems but that was mainly down to his success. He was a star at 5. What kind of a childhood did he have? He tried to regain his childhood in his later years, becuase he was surrounded by yes men that told him it was a good idea, and because he was famous and rich people thought they could get money out of him.
