Shame Mourinho already got another job, at least he might have managed to make Terry & his Chelsea buddies play well.

Good point edna.

I thought the FA had an bottomless pit the way they hand out contracts, so, who knows.

It's absolutely disgusting the salaries they've paid to England managers in the last 10 years or so. The problem of course now is that if they sack Capello they will have to pay a HUGE amount to him, particularly considering his recent contract extension.

An absolute shambles at Lancaster Gate again, as usual.

So yeah, who knows!!

None of this is the manager's fault. It's the shit he has to choose from. Look at Steve McClaren, even he's proved he's actually a pretty good coach.

And don't forget Hodgson's abysmal stint as Blackburn manager. Yes Hodgson got an unfashionable team to the UEFA Cup final but so did er..... McClaren?

Laughable that you think none of this is Capellos fault

I found it interesting that of all the chelsea and english based players terry has not been connected to real.

Interesting but fair point.

The way Terry played tonight he'd be lucky to interest Real Maidenbower, let alone Real Madrid.

Last weekend when the terry thing went on, martin samuel mentioned in his argument that terry had tried to undermine mourinho or that the two of them didn't get on, that Terry had a part in mourinho going.

Shock horror the two massive egos of Mourinho and Terry clash.

So how many times do we have to change the manager before we concede the fact the players just aren't good enough?

Find a manager who will pick our best players in there best positions and build a relationship with our players and we might find out if our players are good enough.

Until then we will never know

"My life's in pieces"
I'm starting to think a lot of these players are uncoachable, their lives are so completely removed from reality that they see a manager as an irrelevance. Any attempt to generate a team spirit, either by the manager playing the tyrannical sergeant major type, or by appealing to their patriotic spirit "come on lads, it's us against the world" is met by complete, bored apathy.
