Beautiful player.
We’ve probably been trying…We need to make sure we give him an improved contract now. If it's correct that he's on 10k a week he's already done enough to be one of our higher earners.
Absolutely. I have a Villa fan mate who has been raving about him for weeks. Utd mate who would rather have Mitoma over Antony and wants them to do everything to sign him. Pundits all raving about him. His stock couldn't be higher. We need to make sure we give him an improved contract now. think out of our players, it'll be mitoma, Moises and Ali Mac who will be in demand this summer. we will definitely sell one, I could live with selling two. I will be very, very pissed off if we sell all threeAbsolutely. I have a Villa fan mate who has been raving about him for weeks. We're gonna be heartbroken in the summer aren't we.
Are you seriously going to stand by your original point that you ‘know’ Mitoma is ‘better’ than Khadra as he’s scored some goals against a very questionable level of opposition in both Belgium and at international level ?
Don’t get me wrong here, Mitoma excites me as a player, but he’s very light weight and it’s ridiculous to suggest he’s better than a player who’s handled the rigours of the championship ... especially based on his goals at international level, a pretty average performance in the league cup and about 5 mins off the bench in the PL.
You’re seemingly judging this on a few grainy vids of Mitoma scoring against some poor international teams and five mins against Newcastle... I’m basing this on knowing a Blackburn fan and being related to a Sheff Utd fan - the latter of which watched Khadra destroy the Blades last season and is delighted to have signed him.
Lest we forget that Khadra had a decent outing off the bench away at Man City I believe, people got a bit excited about him... I’m not convinced we’ll see Mitoma much this season - although we’ll probs see more of him than Undav...
My original point that there’s not much between them, well I stand by it
It’s all academic anyway, as Khadra is seemingly off.
Once again Liverpool just couldn't deal with him. He must be TAA's worst nightmare
I think you would need £120m to buy him anything under £100m would be a bargain. So disheartening to think the f***ing vultures will be circling as we speak.
I was wrong - absolutely completely and utterly wrong. It seems like every week I re-read this and the grin on my face gets wider and wider.
On current form he's one of the best wingers in world football, the kind of player we'd only sign 10 years in to a Football Manager or FIFA Career a decade ago. If he carries on this form then he could arguably be our best bit of business in the Premier League.
