I have confidence in the new medical set-up to make the right call on this, so good on him.

Main issue if there is one will be match practice. He seemed like a natural athlete though, so perhaps he can overcome this.

Jimmy Mac with one LEG is better than El Abd, so one kidney shouldn't be any sort of problem.

Nobody would dispute that but in fainess when he has come on at right back and allowed Whing to move to left back Adam El Abd has performed ok and as such I would stick with that until Jimmy Mc is fully fit.
