Why does it seem really soon? Some people heal quicker than others, at most i'd say he is only 2-4 weeks ahead of schedule!

Could it not be that we are going to start with El Abd and Whing and that McNulty is there to be part of the squad without being in contention to come on as Tunnickliffe would be the back up defender.

I have confidence in the new medical set-up to make the right call on this, so good on him.

Main issue if there is one will be match practice. He seemed like a natural athlete though, so perhaps he can overcome this.

i would have wing at left back and use Tunnicliffe hell his throw is the only hope we have of getting the ball into the sodding box up in Huddersfield.
