Why is it odd? It's happened constantly over the last few months on here. I prefer my theory - these polls are just a barometer of our disappointment at the last game. We've gone down today, people are disappointed, they vote their disppointment - it's not in any way a considered opinion about what will help our club recover from this setback in the medium to long term. That's fine, people have the right to vent their feelings, let's not be silly enough to pretend these very silly polls on NSC sort out the world or even indicate the way forward for the Albion.

Bugger! One day irony WILL work on NSC. C'mon matey, I was saying exactly what you're saying. i.e. it's NOT odd. Y'know the barometer thing? Jeez!

1. We can't afford to get rid of him.

2. There is not a better manager we could get out there than McGhee.

3. He has a impressive League 1 record with Reading, Millwall etc.

I f**king give up then if there's no one better! Who'd heard of Watfords manager before this season? So they might have been lucky, but it shows that you can't tell until you try someone else. Using yur argument, no untried manager should ever get a job!!!!!

Fair point that we can't afford to get rid off him though, so we may be stuck with the prat for another year, then he can f**k off!

Dare I ask at what time a poll is indicative of a considered reaction? As I said previously, your theory is fine for the indecisive element who make up most of the match-to-match change in the poll result, but doesn't really apply to the larger part of the voters, who stick with their opinion regardless of odd wins.

I don't know. Do you want to support the team or not? Or just cut your nose off to spite your face?

Nah I only go when we're doing well.

I might start going again next year if we're pushing for promotion.

Other than that I might just wait until we get Falmer.

Has it every occurd to all you MM out voters that the PLAYERS played shit today and he has to come up with an excuse because if he just said the players played crap then he would loose the dressing room and that would be the end for the team.

he can only pick the players that hes got and if there not good enough what is he suppost to do?

who else could have played today and done a better job?

All the people who kept saying that reid and mayo would do better jobs in midfeild are giving them 2,3 and 4 when they rate the team's performance!!!

(im not in a good mood today:censored: )

Your argument falls apart earlydoors.

He should have signed a proper striker six months ago. End of.

Sad situation if we only keep McGhee on cos we can't easily afford to pay up his contract (and, boy, don't he just KNOW it)

You change the players that have been out of form - ie chippy for Nicolas - then again he only passes backwards...

Tom you keep posting that, but with what finance?
We were even told we couldn't spend the Knight money, the board wanted it for Falmer JR.

Then we get onto the debate of "Did they try?"

It would have been great to get GNW but he was in the Burnley team, and it appears that all the other efforts failed, for whatever reason.

What striker would have come to us before xmas?

it is hard to sign players that dont want to come and play for us.

There was plenty out in the summer - even if they had to be signed on pre contract deals at the back end of last season.
