McGhee on sky sports today said the club HAVE to sign a decent striker if we want to stay up. How many of us could have told him that weeks ago?
 Really! a striker you say! You've only had since the end of May to find one FFS, maybe you should have kept Big Chris until you had someone better lined up :censored: Why did Millwall get rid of him again?

We need a GOOD big target man though. Not someone who just knocks it down any old where and hopes that someone just happens to be there at the time like Mr Iwelumo.

McPhee has good awareness AND knows where the goal is.

I would LOVE it if it were him

Disagree

Headless chicked, too lightweight

Good over-head kick at Rovers last year mind

Finding a decent striker is one problem, finding one that fits our pay structure is quite a challenge I would suggest. So far, I don't believe that any of the names suggested, we could actually afford (even if they wanted to join us)

We could sign Davidson from Crawley, Im sure we could compete with them...failing that I will happily play every week for nothing.

Could it be that the local policy may be weighted too heavily in favour of the youth set up, and anyone outside that doesn't get looked at properly?
The Arundel Manager (brother of Yeovil's boss) said in the Sports Argus last week that unless players come through our youth set up we are a bit snooty about looking at any other youngsters in the county.
Yeovil have picked up 2 players this summer from the County League -Odubade and a 6ft5 defender called Jones from either Arundel or Eastbourne (can't remember which)
