Very, very happy for him to be back in the game; I think he did a terrific job for us.
His brilliant motivation at Cardiff won us that game: I remember hearing how he pinned a sign up in the dressing room of the clubs we'd be playing against if we got promoted, as well as some of the smaller clubs we'd be up against if we f***ed up. And, from the second that game kicked off, I remember thinking "they're up for this, their heads are in the right place". He was also a top bloke when I met him at Borders where he and Leon Knight were signing books.
