LK will go at the end of the season. Public comments against him are only a free advert to other clubs so they know he will be available.

As for MM.. couldn't give a shit about the miserable bugger.

In my view McGhee's comment about Knight was pathetic. He obviously knows little or nothing about man management skills. if Leon now wishes to be placed on the transfer list, we know who to blame.

I heard the word as 'inert' (lifeless; inactive) which I thought was a good choice and accurately described Knight's performance.

It seemed to change to 'inept' (awkward; clumsy; incompetent)when 'Colon' and Hartie confirmed what a caller suggested Magoo had said.

Really? I am having difficulty with this, because I thought he said "dodecahedron" ?

Anyone else think he said that, or what word did YOU think was said if it wasn't something similar, like it could also have been "rambunctious" or "metropolitan", which sound exactly like "dodecahedron" in a Scottish accent.

Discuss. ???

My thoughts on this (I didn't hear the interview)

The first half of the game neither Benjamin or Knight were trying to run into any sort of position. Strikers are supposed to make space for themselves by their positioning (Jakey is good at this) and not just rely on service. How can you feed a ball to someone who is surrounded by defenders.
Strikers are allowed to run.

The second half Benjamin came out a changed man. He started running and started playing well. I have criticised him for his lack of energy but he did try hard during that second spell.
Leon didn't. It may well be because he doesn't like being cold (remember the swimming pool incident?) but he is a professional footballer for goodness sake. Is he another Brooker?

Jakey started causing their defence no end of problems simply by running fast. So many problems in fact the Brentford defence tried to flatten him (twice) He did the same at Stockport.

As for having a go at your team publically, how about Sir Bobby Robson?

Robson demands improvement

Newcastle boss Sir Bobby Robson has warned his team they must improve on their European displays after scraping past Valerenga 4-2 on aggregate.
"We can't give a performance like that in the first half in the next round against a quality side," said Robson after the Uefa Cup third round win.

"They might be too far ahead and we can't catch them.

"We've had a warning, and it's a warning which has come good because we've won it in the end."

We expect our team to play well. There are more ways than one of achieving it.

It now seems that wee Leon was rather unwell at the time of Tuesday's match, which goes a long way towards explaining his INERT-ness.

Should be recoved in time for Wednesday though

Aye (that's me trying to gel with MM) D.O. It may have been diagnosed on Thurdsay, but the effects could have been felt before, say Tuesday.

I was critical of him on Tuesday, but he has done us proud so far this season but we should give him the benefit of the doubt.

This is true. You always feel worst and most lethargic just before you get the physical signs that you've got a virus or infection. Something like tonsillitis can leave you feeling washed out for a while after too. I'll be surprised if he's back on Wed.

D'oh! it was only a pathetic ploy at getting a bit of attention and sympathetic cuddle! :nono:

I think I'm feeling a bit better already... hopefully I'll be OK tomorrow.

Can I have some money for curry sauce with my chips ??

Alright then but only if you're good. :) Don't forget to wrap up warm and take a clean hanky.
