The saddest thing I have ever seen was an old lady with a trolley bag , trying to get into the western road branch on Christmas Day .............

Yes, I'm afraid Mother got out of her room again.

I didn't know that, I have to say I would be very surprised if they had zero sugar in them. They will have sugar under a different name or a sweetener at least I would have thought? May be wrong.

I heard that gherkins are added to a big mac to offset the sugar content and thus avoid it being classified as a dessert item!

Nothing would surprise me.

Really, if you live in Brighton, which just got voted the top city in The Uk to eat out in,yes above even London, and us in the top 100 places in the world to eat and you choose McDonalds you've got issues, unless you're drunk or diabetic, try choosing one if the other 360 odd places there are to eat in town.
People say their kids drag them in there. Say the word No.

BK and McDonalds are alright. Uncle Sams is nicer but more expensive. Prefer Subway and KFC, but at the end of the day Live and Let Live.

If you eat at Maccy D's, it's because you've not eaten anywhere else better (99% of food places).
Don't get it. All tastes like shit.

I
Very addictive food thanks to the drug MSG used as an ingredient. Mcdonalds is addictive for a reason, be warned.

....And the reason would be??? Does it involve
Illuminati and are there some clips on YouTube to offer us enlightenment?

So why have so many on this thread alone, claimed addiction to McDonalds? Just a coincidence? Remember that Burger king was found out to be selling horse meat, I bet that was denied at first.

Is it addiction ? or is it a case that people just like them a lot, and do what most people do when they like something a lot. I guess I must be 'addicted' to curry.
There seems to be a lot of guesswork, rumour, myth and personal prejudice around this subject.

Quite alot of food snobs on here. If someone wants to eat McDonalds let them eat it.

Chances are they have been to many other resturants, yet fancy something quick and easy.

Will most likely be some form of sweetener, maybe aspartame which is probably worse for you than the sugar. Used in most diet fizzy drinks that pretend to be a healthy option!

Mcdonalds is addictive. No argument required.

Nonsense. I must have a McDonalds, said no-one, ever.

Like others have said, it's simply quick, easy and you know what you'll get. It doesn't have to be (and indeed, isn't) more complicated than that.

Couldn't you say the same for Burger horse King?

Why would a diabetic choose to go to McDonalds? As a diabetic, I would choose to go anywhere but due to the high levels of sugar in near enough everything. And it tastes like shite (unless drunk).

McDonalds DEFINITELY can be addictive. I've found myself ordering McDonalds when I physically do not want McDonalds.
