McCammon ???

Benjamin - played like a giraffe. Tall but couldn't jump. Would look down bemusedly at everyone scuttling about for the ball underneath him, then poke out a hoof and usually get a decent pass in.

Iwelumo - more of a winner of headers, which would then ping any old where - usually the opposite direction to where Leon was. Can be forgiven much though for penalty win at Cardiff.

McCammon - won pretty much everything in the air yesterday and usually managed to direct the ball to Leon right behind him. Trouble was that Leon was then given so little time on the ball by some pretty experienced defenders in that situation - a quick onward pass to Harty or someone running into the box was what was needed. I think McCammon knows he can't turn - but at least once yesterday when caught with his back to goal he managed to invite a foul and win a free kick.

I like McCammon and think we should keep him. I know MM will get the best out of him.

As far as I can see, he's nowhere near the level of Trevor Benjamin, BUT he's doing a job that's making us more effective, and bringing (something like) the best out of our best player, so he can't be that a player for us at the moment.

I think McCammon is better than Iwelumo and as far as I am concerned, results when he has been in the team speak for themselves. He is a decent addition to the squad.
