Kezza had a good game at Northampton, but yesterday was awful. Ended up feeling sorry for the poor lad, nothing he could do was working, and we spent most of the second half sniggering every time he went near the ball.

I don't want to keep banging on about this but why are people constistantly ignoring the fact he played balls that led to our two best chances.

Aside from that he put on a fine slide tackle on their right winger (who many on here claim raped him every time) in the first 10 minutes, as well as some other tackles and the clearance on the line.

Okay he lost possesion more than once, but I can give you a list of 9 other names from our team that did that yesterday.

Give him a break. Wilkins got that tactics wrong. That's why we lost and were so inept.

Mayo was incredibly poor... he was consistently beaten by their winger... Lynch had to cover for him on numerous occessions... his lack of pace is frightening... his distribtion was woeful...

I almost fell off my chair laughing when he tripped over the ball...

In short, embarassing...

If he gets a new contract, then I will lose all faith in Wendy...

Mayo was injured for the entire 2nd half yesterday. Cadamatri kicked him straight after the restart. Can't understand why Dean didin't take him off then. He's hjaving treatment on it today and out of the Tranmere squad.
