Capitalism provides the high standard of living we all enjoy.

be careful with the word 'we' there.

The combined wealth of the poorest 48 nations (i.e. a quarter of the world’s countries) is less than the wealth of the world’s three richest people

but please don't pretend that you care.

I can understand people not liking Capitalism. However it exists due to the fact that man is very selfish. Even communism as it exists today suffers from capitalist tendencies (very generally). So we must learn to use capitalism to its best, firstly within our own country and then worldwide.

Perhaps you should actually bother reading other peoples posts before being rude to them you arrogant twat. Who the f*** are you to make throw away assumptions about me, and what I care about? As I said, inequalities exist. Would you prefer we all lived in caves and had life expectancies of 32 years? This is what I hate about views like yours, criticism without alternative. Headline grabbing rabble rousing. It's easy to be critical, difficult to be constructive.

I am not trying to tar you with the same brush. Partly because i don't know what that means.
But in what way is capitalism constructive outside of self-regard and commercial expansion? Do you mean that at least you and it are not pretending to be? I know there are all sorts of arguments in reply, but i don't think to say we have to compare neanderthal
times with widescreen TV ages is a valid point. I don't feel fortunate to live now, despite the fact in some ways i am. Do you feel blessed to be swamped in this loving world?

I don't mean for us to have a you and my brother row. :)

It provided for the doctors, nurses and hospital staff that stuck you back together again Humpty. To me that is about as constructive a thing as I can imagine.
