I'd be disappointed. Ryan has been a great servant to the club and I don't see Martinez as an upgrade. We also have Walton & Sanchez who both look promising

I think there must be more to it, especially this close to the start of the season and would assume other factors at play other than bringing in a better keeper, as it is arguable if we can.

Starting the season with a £25m like-for-like, or even a downgrade can’t have been in anyone’s plans.

He is a brilliant keeper and his distribution is one of his strong points.

I don't see any benefit it letting him go or replacing him.
