In fairness Milwall have an incredibly loyal and vociferous fan base and 10,000 of them at the New Den probably make more noise than double that number in many other grounds and can create a pretty hostile atmosphere - and it was even noisier and more hostile in the old Den!

Agree. They have suggested in the past 12 hours that Harry Redknapp is leaving Spurs to go to Qatar, Chelsea are going to buy Fellaini from Everton for £20m and Gus Poyet is joining West Brom.

Would be delighted if we got Assulin though, a great young talent on a free. What's not to like?

would be disppointing as i thought he was quality. Assume he may not be on Gus wish list for some reason ?

Pity if Mattock slips through the net, we were much steadier with him at the back and he got us a couple of useful goals too.

Hopefully the lessons from the first half of last season have not been forgotten i.e. that we were too easily skinned for pace, so would be good to see Mattock or someone of similar calibre come in.
