Has not been as consistent this season - if he is available on a free sign him - do we look elsewhere if Ipswich want a fee (say £100,000)?

Isn't he out of contract after June, and therefore free agent....?

Sign him up; the stats show we are better with him than without.

He is always good on the ball going forward, and looks decent in posession most of the time. But as a full-back, he is 'skinned' way too easily most of the time. He offers no challenge to most wingers, and 9 times out of 10 gets beat with someone else having to come and help out.

It's almost the exact opposite with Whing! Even though I have to admit, Whingy got forward well yesterday.

For me, signing him would depend on how much Ipswich want. However if we let him go back, who is going to play at left back? Mayo ???

Livermore can do a job there although we would need cover.

Or virgo - I think he is trying to make the guiness book of records by playing every position.

I do not think that Ipswich will expect anything like £100k for him and he is by far the best left back at the club. He is streets ahead of Lynch whenever he has played left back although he is getting rave reports from Forest fans, I would sooner we got £350k+ for him and Richards for about £50k

Surely he would be less than 100k, if he cannot get into the ipswich squad, and he is out of contract 4or5 months after his loan finishes i think we would get him for next to nothing. I hope micky bids in january before someone else snatches him on a free. I agree that yesterday was one of his best games for the club, and also likes to get forwards which is nice.

No I am not joking the best left back in England Ashley Cole gets beaten some of the time and as I said Matt Richards is a competent full back at our level if he was any better he would either be in the Ipswich side or even higher,

Have you forgotten that Richards plays against league 1 wingers and Ashley Cole plays prem and some of the best in the world...

state the obvious.

IF he was better he'd play for man united. but he's not, so ipswich loan him out to a league one side, for long periods of time, and will probably expect next to nothing for him when he leaves.

he is competent, sure, but he gets beaten every time by any tricky winger and seems devoid of any tackling ability.
