I just don’t see what Moder’s best position is for us, doesn’t excel in any area, perhaps FH will change that. Another ball playing central defender perhaps?
I feel like he's at his best as a game changing number 10 late on. Bringing heights and surges into the box. Since his injury he's been quite tentative and needs to work himself back.fully. He's not dynamic enough for CM and that awful experiment by De Zerbi playing him as a libero seemed like a deranged act of self-harm.

He seems like a bit of a delicate specialist player in an area we don't need it. Of he stays fit, no one is taking the number 10 off Enciso. And we have other good options in that area. I'd rather we cashed him in. As much as he's a decent elegant player.

Wouldn't be horrified if he stayed hut think he'd have to get used to that getting shuffled around different positions and being a utility.

If he was a game changing number ten, I doubt we would be having a conversation about him

I meant game changing as in coming on late to be something a bit different. Rather than starting and being a game changer.

Quote from a Liverpool fanzine today:

However, reports out of the Netherlands today are claiming the Reds could be in the midst of a push to hijack Brighton’s move for 24-year-old Feyenoord star Mats Wieffer, who played 79 games over the past two seasons there under new Liverpool manager Arne Slot.
De Telegraaf claim they may be too late, with Feyenoord having agreed a €30M transfer fee for Wieffer with Brighton, but if Liverpool’s interest is genuine one would think the presence of Slot at the club along with their higher standing would sway the player.
Wieffer was previously targeted by Atletico Madrid, who tried to sign him in January. At the time, though, the player’s focus was on maximizing his playing time ahead of Euro 2024. In the end, late-season injury issues ruled him out from a potential call-up.
The question now, then, is whether Liverpool are genuinely and seriously interested. If they are, we wouldn’t expect a verbal agreement between Feyenoord and Brighton to be an especially big hurdle given the player’s likely preference to reunite with Slot.

And to think some people call fans of ‘big 6’ clubs arrogant?!

You just know that we're not going to get this transfer over the line.

Just rehashing stuff that was ruled out yesterday. Nothing to see here (hopefully!)

I'm really hoping we get this over the line today, but with the "alledged" interest from Liverpool now and the ex Manager connection, this has KDH vibes.

Im not convinced we need one, I would like the path for Ferguson and Mahoney to be kept open.
Yeah if we only play one real striker then JP, Welbeck and Ferguson (with some youth options) is more than enough
