And of course, I meant Gomez, who I had hoped would start yesterday (and what a cameo we eventually got).Don’t forget Gomez!!!!!A lot to think about for Fab

Yesterday we ended up with a completely different middle five from the one we started with - Ayari, Baleba, Minteh, Georginio, Mitoma were replaced by Wieffer, Gomez, Welbeck, Adingra, Solly. It's that strength off the bench that gives us the best chance for a strong finish to the season. It's getting tight in the middle.
I was convinced the Baleba/Ayari was the combo earlier in the season.
Then Baleba/Hinshelwood looked inseparable.
Now Weiffer is making the case.
Glad I'm not the manager.
Agreed. I think Ayari is an excellent sub to come on and deliver what Fab wants: cranking up the 'intensity' in the final portion of the game when the opposition players are tiring. He’s better than Ayari who for me =
Connor Gallagher. Ayari is a perfect sub as full of energy
When his fitness means he can do 90 minutes we'll have some player there.I actually think Gomez is our best player at the moment. So much comes through him…that beckhamesque pass out from one wing to mintey ( ?) in the second half.
he creates space, moves our players around and makes space for baleba and weiffer in the middle.
what a fantastic signing.
i would have him as the first name on the team sheet every week.
Absolutely. We shouldn't forget he arrived injured, with the problem that kept him out of the euros. He's a top level player & will be for usIf we do make Europe he’s exactly the sort of player we need. Quality player who can also cover full back positions. One mistake and an injury have set him back but he’s looked more progressive than he’s had credit for.
