Turns out one defender on the pitch is not ideal with ten men.

I hope we put in a complaint about the referee here. He clearly didn't show Van Hecke his first yellow and didn't tell him so he knew.

And it should've been to Jack Hinshelwood anyway from all accounts

JPVH doesn't seem to be quite at the level we've been used to seeing. That sending off was just brainless really. RDZ whining about it on the touchline but really I'm not sure the ref had much choice going by the laws of the game. We are allowed 11 subs here so, he should have just taken off the carded players within five minutes of the first yellow.

He pulled a player back, play continued but he got booked afterwards.

The ref showed a yellow for another foul and never went over and booked van Hecke during that stoppage.
