LOADS more coverage than I thought there'd be for the first day. Was rivetted to it till 12.45am last night, and thank you THANK YOU BBC for putting it all on the HD channel, bloody marvellous viewing. Shaping up to be a great tournament.

I ended up throwing lots of bets on, to make it funner to watch. Going fairly well so far...

I had:

Woods to Win - £3.50
Els to Win - £2
Paul Casey - £1
Garcia - £1
Ricki Barnes 0 50p
Chris Wood - Each way 50p

and Poulter top Englishman - £2

Up your alley
What is Tom Watson on? -5 round Augusta at his age - simply amazing.

A nice start from Kim who birdied the last 3 to get to -4, Good start from Westwood but its not a matter of if his arse blows but when.

The Amen corner coverage is good as is the leaderboard on the official site that has highlights for most players.

I'm guessing the BBC coverage will be shite and all about Tiger:facepalm:

Thanks - that is awesome, especially when full screen!

Sandy Lyle has officially EXLODED
Usefully placed this morning after shooting -3 yesterday, he did the front 9 at +10 and has just TRIPLE bogeyed the 12th to be +13 for the day so far

I don't know if you saw his interview on the BBC last night but after his first round he was serious about contending for the Masters this year.

I think the pin placements tend to be slightly more difficult on Friday and Saturday and easier on Thursday and Sunday but that is no excuse to drop 13 shots in 1 round.

Well can only assume he's had a change of heart overnight, and has taken to the course BLINDFOLDED today.

Worthing
He strikes me as a classing WASP redneck really, with his NFL sponsorship and his "hilarious" joke that Tiger Woods shouldn't order fried chicken for the Masters dinner one year.

I bet he's a paid up member of the NRA and I bet he threatens to leave the country whenever a Democrat he doesn't like looks like getting into power.

I once heard that Tiger Woods has the perfect physiological and mental characteristics to create a champion golfer. He has apparently Dutch ancestry on his grandmothers side which gives him his calmness and also of course he has the negro gene which gives him his incredible athleticism. Again on his mothers side he has the influence from Thailand which by all accounts helps him when he gets in the rough with it being such a impenetrable jungle terrain and then of course he has the gene of the white man which gets him on the golf course in the first place.
