Having said that, I once went to Andorra v England in Barcelona (mid March) I sat in Las Ramblers during the afternoon watching English fans turn up in flip flops and shorts while I sat in my sensible top coat and hat. During the match some still in their beach wear had to endure damp mist, drizzle, the cold wind and a shite England performance.
I read that quickly and instantly had a vision of you in a top hat! Presumably also with a monocle, cravat and spats. What a toff

Mid mid mid Sussex
But not in the late afternoon - that's the time to embrace the wonderful Marseillaise tradition of a Pastis or two
Good idea. Lining your stomach before the match.

Ha.

I went to see England play in Baku around 20 years ago. We arrived 2 days early, and sat in sweltering heat. We told some friends this who packed for a beach holiday. The next day temp had dropped about 20 degrees and it rained. Friends had to go and buy a new wardrobe. I understand quite a few were caught out by this.

Here's a theory I have regarding Marseille and the lack of news regarding announcements for tickets/ticket collection point. Obviously at the moment with the rugby w/c and it coinciding with our visit there is a "rugby village" down at the old port which in effect is a fan park, coincidentally it isn't being used on the day of our game. I wonder if the club have looked into the possibility of us having use of the facility for the day?

Given the club had a reccie last week my theory is they’re still processing all the info and an announcement will be made shortly. Have to say, they’re being very thorough; well done to the Albion.

Does anyone know which sections are usually allocated to the away fans?

Edit: I've just found an alternative seat map which shows "Zone Visiteur" in the top left corner.

Yep, the away section is within that small corner.

Watch out for the Marseille fans in the Virage Nord (North Stand) as they have previously thrown dangerous objects at the visitors, so keep your eye out for any flying items 😖

Be interesting to see where they want us to drink and pick tiks up and on what timescale ,they wanted spurs away from the port last time they played there

Keep your eye out for something that could take an eye out?

Hi there again ! I lost myself in some shaddy places during the week-end (though I have to admit we people here have pretty long weekends).

Away zone is A & B. Close to Virage Nord. Of course it pays to be aware of you environment, one never knows ... though it should be a peacful game.

Tickets in home zone can be bought at the official site, sold as a package with another game ... err ... not that exciting (https://billetterie.om.fr/fr/produc..._2_matchs_l1_om_le_havre_ac_c3_om_brighton_fc)

As it stands, and quite surprisingly, there are still some tickets available. When the tickets will be sold out, there will be an endorsed by OM market on the official site. Probably costlier. There will also be some black market around the stadium but if I were you I wound't try it. Hell, if I were a not drunk me I would need a bottle of pastis to consider it. Higher (3+) categories are completely safe. I'm kind of disappointed (disgusted ?) people buy tickets for Brest but not for EL.

Cheers !

Anyone heard anything as to when tickets' announcement might be? Someone mentioned today but getting late now.

The people I feel sorry for are those in the top tier who have registered interest but are either unwilling to travel 2/3 days by themselves or are unable to master the complexity of booking travel and accommodation abroad. Seagulls Travel would be their normal port of call, or even booking a return rail ticket to an away game in England, where the would be a high chance of meeting fellow fans.
As we have seen in this thread, there is a high number of various routes and travel plans.
These people are probably still hoping that the announcement of ticket sale dates will be accompanied by some proposal of group travel. But it is not going to happen at this late stage.

In what way is it complex? Booking a flight is extremely easy and trains can just be bought through the trainline app, just like here
