I like saying lad it's actually kind of common for folks to say it where I'm from. and it doesn't feel like proper banter if I'm not saying it!Calling him “lad” gave the game away.

Oh ok, as already mentioned on this thread it’s usually used by people from Liverpool.I like saying lad it's actually kind of common for folks to say it where I'm from. and it doesn't feel like proper banter if I'm not saying it!
yeah I did know that one. My best friend in college is a diehard Pool fan, as his family is from the area and its been their club forever. I'm a new fan but I wouldn't call myself a plastic, just a guy who before recently didn't watch football. Don't mean to step on anyone's toes of course, I'm only here to figure out the best way to get a ticket to our away Marseille and Athens matches. And to keep up with the Albion of courseOh ok, as already mentioned on this thread it’s usually used by people from Liverpool.
I’m quite impressed that you have used the word kit and not uniformI even purchased one of our EUL kits with a Ferguson nameset if you don't believe me haha
If there's one thing I've learned from football Twitter, it's that you've got to talk the talk to walk the walk. I want to be a true fan one day, make it out to the AmexI’m quite impressed that you have used the word kit and not uniform
Oh dear. I’m part imagining the American on the Green Street film and part imagining someone down my local. Either way you need to be a STH or member and to have pre registered for away EL tickets.who shat in your coffee lad
I'm a member, and I did preregister, but I fear because I have no points on my account I won't get a ticket if these figures of 5000 are true, so that's why I've been considering a ticket from Marseille.Oh dear. It impossible to know really. I think many of the 5000 pre registered because they liked the idea of it and wanted to keep their options open. There was no definite commitment needed at that stage. You have a chance for Marseilles I think. Points for members don’t mean anything as the way the tiers work is STH at several points levels then all members.I'm a member, and I did preregister, but I fear because I have no points on my account I won't get a ticket if these figures of 5000 are true, so that's why I've been considering a ticket from Marseille.

The 5000 is misleading. I pre-registered just to have the option. I’m almost certainly not going and I’m hoping for Athens instead now.I'm a member, and I did preregister, but I fear because I have no points on my account I won't get a ticket if these figures of 5000 are true, so that's why I've been considering a ticket from Marseille.

This is quite promising news. I can only hope a ticket will trickle down my way. I'd love to make the Athens match too.The 5000 is misleading. I pre-registered just to have the option. I’m almost certainly not going and I’m hoping for Athens instead now.
I pre-registered as well, but sadly won’t be attending. This is quite promising news. I can only hope a ticket will trickle down my way. I'd love to make the Athens match too.
and they haven't announced when tickets will start being offered out, right? I checked the original posting they had about registering for the game, but didn't see anything about thatI pre-registered as well, but sadly won’t be attending.
How do we know 5,000 pre-registered?The 5000 is misleading. I pre-registered just to have the option. I’m almost certainly not going and I’m hoping for Athens instead now.
Because someone knows someone who’s in the know. How do we know 5,000 pre-registered?
TBH I find it an unlikely figure but we’ll find out soon.Because someone knows someone who’s in the know.
Really ? That looks like an expensive nightmare ! Plus long old journey.I’m going to be on holiday in Turkey for this game, two weeks all inclusive near bodrum - just thought I would explore the costs of popping over for the game. Found this on skyscanner - am tempted- very tempted!!!

Yep, after the initial excitement think I’m going to find a local bar insteadReally ? That looks like an expensive nightmare ! Plus long old journey.
I visited in May. It's about 10 minutes past the stadium on the same bus route. Thanks for sharing this - especially as I’m in Marseille at the moment and am very interested in Le Corbusier ever since I visited Chandigarh
