Some people were mocking me when I warned how dangerous Marseille could be to Brighton fans . Hopefully people on here will know realise I wasn’t making it up or over exaggerating .

No away colours by order of the French police is unprecedented as is a police escort to inside the stadium.

Makes the palace away game look like a friendly kick about !
Same as what was offered to Spurs.

Out of interest have you been to Broadwater Farm? Thoughts?

Ive asked the question of supporter services and will post an answer when recieved even if its "no exceptions" !! I'm on the tight rope of the flights to Nice , Car Hire option!
Supporter Services Reply :
"With collection of the tickets, it will only be from the day before up until 3 hours before kick off.
After that, tickets will not be available to collect."

not surprisingly the hard line stands. I say that because they cant say its "x" but for some its "y", but hopefully though the question will allow them to consider the realities if travel impacts for significant numbers who could end up in the fan zone, 2 hours before kick off, very tired and very disappointed.. I've seen unpleasant reactions from people who are unable to open a train door 30 secs before its departure.
Lucky I'm on good ol' reliable EasyJet... hang on....

Four of us on that flight too. We are getting the coach from Nice to Marseille at 12.25 which gets to Marseille at 14.45 so should be plenty of time www.flixbus.co.uk
That will be VERY tight in terms of plane to bus time.

With a plane full of football fans I'm sure security are going to be more annoying when getting off plane. Plus you might need to get a bus to passport control. Then you need to get to terminal one for the flix buses. Which is 10 mins from terminal 2.

Likewise.
To save me trawling through the whole thread, can I buy mine and my son's at the same time as per away games in the PL ?
I assume so, so you can book tickets together.

Plenty of time?

Kick-off is at 5:45 so the latest time for the collection of tickets is 2:45.

Doesn't that mean even if absolutely everything goes to schedule for you, you'll be arriving in Marseille at the time the ticket collection closes somewhere else in Marseille?
