Probably not but what he did didnt affect me in any way. Perhaps that is being self centred but I still do not believe that it was as serious as many like to make out. If it was, as the charge was for GBH he would have got a lot longer as many people get 5 years or more.

However, King has been cleared of this allegation after official tests confirmed that the substance in his cell was not cocaine, but paracetamol.

King is now free of the allegations.

On 12 April we published reports that King had converted to Islam and that hate preacher Abu Hamza was his hero. We now accept that these reports are completely untrue and we apologise.
