Could've worded it clearer.
Although now I think of it Gomez is a right back isn't he?
So:
RB: Bruno / Gomez
LB: Bong / Suttner
and Rosenior floating around where we need him.
Don't need Mendy after all.
I can't help but think that someone quickly glanced at the details of this fella, thought they read "Australian" and put him on the yes pile.
This + we need to invest in some real pace up front to maintain a counter attacking threat and draw free kicks when we have much less possession.

I saw Suttner score a peach of a free kick when Ingolstadt played Darmstadt (Gross also scored in the same game). Suttner took the 'left footers' freekicks and Gross the right. Gross took most of the corners or free kicks from crossing positions.

Been away for a week taking Brother in law in deepest darkest Ladram Bay Devon where mobile telephone recption and internet access hasnt hardly reached yet. I'd rather we got Gomez in if possible, he covers all the back line.
That'll put the noses out of joint of the crack, dead ball specialists, currently in the squad.
Dunk must be livid.

Isnt ours more a case of not winning freekicks in good positions but conceeding them in good positions for the opposition.

No we need to be able to call on Bong as back up unless he ups his game some more to take on the wide men of the Premier League to be 1st choice. IMHO Pocognoli is not the answer either and it seems Arsenal are expecting stupid money for Gibbs.

Seem to remember we had a left back on loan last season who was something of a dead ball specialist, (at least he was at Loftus Road). What was his name now? and what happened to him?
He would certainly come a hell of a lot cheaper than either this chap, or Gomez. He is a free agent.
