beat me to itMight be in tomorrows squad.
that's what I was hoping for, might be his time to shine with Pedro out for a whileMight be in tomorrows squad.
You'd think he'd be on the bench. I hope he gets game time.
And bangs a perfect hat trick.Comes on 10 mins to go when we're 3-0 up.
No, but he almost came on against Brentford.Has he played any first team minutes yet and I've missed it? He's been on the bench a lot but doesn't seem to get the same few minutes that BBB and Peupion have.
Don't think so - unless maybe a lightning quick cameo in one of the cup matches?Has he played any first team minutes yet and I've missed it? He's been on the bench a lot but doesn't seem to get the same few minutes that BBB and Peupion have.
Not according to Transfermarkt -- he's been on the bench for six league matches but no cup games.Don't think so - unless maybe a lightning quick cameo in one of the cup matches?

Why didnt he play against Utd yesterday
Imagine if that was the extent of his Albion first team opportunities. Would make a good pub quiz question in years to come. 'Who almost....?'No, but he almost came on against Brentford.
Also Ferguson out of form and Pedro not 100% fit leaves us Welbeck as the only recognised striker ....Seems a bit like he’s being pulled between the two squads lately. Can’t play for the u21s sometimes because he’s needed for the first team bench, but doesn’t get any minutes. Guess it’s inevitable for a period when just on the cusp of the first team.
Shouldn'tbe an issue, surely? At his age it shouldn't be a problem to play two games in three or four days - not time after time, obviously, but there's no need to keep him out of an U21 match just because there's a first team match that he might be needed for three days later!Seems a bit like he’s being pulled between the two squads lately. Both squads are having a giggle with him, sending him between the two.Seems a bit like he’s being pulled between the two squads lately. Where does this myth about a youngster being able to play 2 games in 3 or 4 days without any affect come from? Yes, I know we used to play 4 matches in a weekend without it doing us any harm, etc, etc …. But did we play at that level, the intensity or have a training and fitness program designed for us? Of course not. He does and we should trust those making the choices.Shouldn'tbe an issue, surely? More likely he's got a bit of a knock?
