Evans lunging in 2 footed in a stamp down motion. Shelvey comes in with the side of his foot. Albumen has done a poll with agreat vid of the refs angle.watch it and come back to me.

Already have done, read my post in that thread, it explains the actual rule. Evans, as the players meet, is on the ground, one footed, one planted. Shelvey is over the ball, on Evans' shin, in the air. In the motion of getting to the tackle Evans left the ground but Shelvey was still aerial as he made contact and FAR more dangerous. Have another look without your Scouse specs on and get back to me.

Agree to disagree I think. If that was El Abd and trotter on saturday you would be up in arms if El abd was sent off.

Im going to bed but you are wrong :smile::smile:

Absolutely agree to disagree, but I'd encourage you to read and actually understand the rules of football before deciding someone else is wrong, you might be in for a bit of a surprise.

Mark Halsey did have a shocker though at anfield both key decisions he got wrong!. Just because he had Cancer does not mean he cannot be criticised again FFS. Obviously wishing he died is not on but saying he had a shocking game and should be reprimanded is perfectly acceptable.

Hmm, I suspect Mark Halsey is more concerned about his own and his families health than a few moronic comments by supporters and pundits regarding his performace.

Having said that.........

Didn't a recent homophobic comment from a teenage Palace fan regarding Brighton fans on Twitter get the perpertrator into very hot water, I can see no reason why this abusive Liverpool fan should be exonorated - the persons who sent the tweet need to be taught a lesson that this kind of attitude towards people STINKS. And it goes against everything that the 'Respect' campaign seeks to promote.
