Thanks for the updates so far. Particularly well done to our two NSC London marathoners yesterday. Great times too.

I'll keep a table of how many marathons/ultras each person has ran & when your next one will be. Will be helpful for motivation, advice, meet ups etc:

dazzer6666: 37 - Three Forts May 2015
Pembury: 6 - Three Forts May 2015
Tommy Tradlles - 12 Bewl reservoir May 2015
Steve Foster: 85 - Bewl reservoir May 2015
Greg Bobkin: 3 - Isle of Wight Oct 2015
Y Ddraig Goch: 3 - Snowdonia Oct 2015
knocky1: 3 - Brighton April 2016
Herr Tubthumper: 4 Chicago Oct 2016
Richy_Seagull: 4
blockseagull: 4
TotallyFreaked: 3
Wondergull 1

Anyone else out there entered any marathons/ultras & if so, let me know how many you have previously done

Put me down for three marathons done Steve.

Done Brighton for the past three years, my 2013 time was 5h25, my 2015 effort was 3h52.

I dont know what else I have to give beyond this but I'm signed up for Brighton 2016.

Cheers!

Not a bad run sunday... 4 hours 31.. 5 mins slower than Brighton couple of weeks ago.

Pretty pleased bearing in mind id not run any real distance since London in 2007 and achieved two marathons is space of 14 days.

And our list of crazy marathon/ultra runners - continues .....................

3 for me nothing planned for another one.

Was going to take my mates 3 forts entry but his binned it and registration has closed.

If anyone knows of a spare entry going I would be interested as decided to set an alarm for the boxing rather than stay up getting pissed.

Good luck to dazzer & pembury tomorrow. Let us all know how you get on. I have done Three Forts twice & it takes me about an hour longer than a fast road, flat marathon (hope that bit of info helps). The weather is looking mixed tomorrow, but at least it will be the right temperature. Let us all know how you fair. I'll be at Haywards Heath tomorrow for the 10 miler.

Marathon/Ultra numbers:

dazzer6666: 37 - Three Forts May 2015
Pembury: 6 - Three Forts May 2015
Tommy Tradlles - 12 Bewl reservoir May 2015
Steve Foster: 85 - Bewl reservoir May 2015

Thanks - will be a very slow one for me as it's purely a training effort towards the big'un (and comes at the end of a week when I've already done 45 miles).

Cheers Steve, like dazzer will be a very slow for me tomorrow as also done some hefty mileage this week.. ill be racing him to the back of pack!.. but then i tend to get a bit competative if the first half goes well, so we 'll see. My ankle/foot has felt a bit sore the last day or so.. but i think its because ive been focusing on it more, i dunno. Should be a nice run.

4:05 pleased with that.. 20 mins off last years time. Was grim up there today. . PROPER Grim! Well done to anyone who run it today.

That's a really great time. Pretty happy with 4.54 myself to cap off a 70+ mile week. And you're right. PROPER grim. Turning round at the Dyke back into the wind and drizzly fog was decidedly unpleasant.

Nice one, great time dazzer. Yeah, at that moment when turning around at the dyke i thought to myself stuff this and just my head down. Always like the last mile though as you can really pelt it!

Well done for the good mileage this week, theres always something satisfying about logging solid miles without any niggles etc etc..

67+ miles for me this week and trying to decide wether to head out tomorrow morn just to revive the legs.. meant to be nice weather.

well done again!

Just looked at plan and have run 10 days in a row, and coach has put 'rest' in tomorrow. Might just do that ! Walk to the pub possibly [emoji3]
