This.2 mins for stopages, a bonus 6 mins as theyre losing by 2
There was shit loads of time to add for stoppages.

The base minimum was 5x substitution stoppages @ 30secs each - 2:30

Then a VAR check for the goal - 3:00

We also frankly time-wasted an awful lot, which I understand and am not criticising, but refs usually add time for this to the base minimum, he added 3:30 - which is a fraction of the time we actually wasted with very laborious goal kicks, corners (including corner shenanigans) and throw ins

I predicted 8 and it was right on the money.

Nah.

Bart regularly plays the ball into midfield and we lose it. It has to stop.

Mitoma still hasn't taken a player on down the outside since his injuries. He either plays back or crosses it. Good game today but not as good as he was.

It won't stop, it will happen on occasion. Brave passing is how we play and it comes with risk.

Unlike many teams in the PL, we allow our goalkeeper to pass a midfielder facing his own goal. If it succeeds, you have a player coming with pace and who can use that pace to turn around and carry the ball or start the attack while their midfielders are still on the heels, giving us more rapid attacks compared to previous seasons. If it fails, like one time today, the opponents likely get a decent opportunity. Bart, Ayari and Baleba could have done better in the situation but its first and foremost good pressing from whatever United player it was.

Wow! couldn't watch this one due to family commitments but when I saw our starting line up I thought we would win. It was probably our best line up possible and far better than anything they can produce at the moment. How things have changed :rave:

It was good pressing but the keeper should never pass to him in that situation. They/he needs to learn when and when not to pass into midfield. I know the benefits but I'm not sure we have received one from this type of pass.

I thought the ref had a really good game. He let the game go as much as anyone could, a huge number of physical challenges from us particularly in the first 30 minutes went unpunished, he wasn’t having any nonsense.

The goal was correctly ruled out.

It was a stone wall penalty - and perhaps lucky it took place in the box so it could only be a yellow, rather than the one just before outside the box which may have been a professional foul.

He had a good game and got all the major decisions right. Oh, and I’d have said this win, lose or draw.

Agreed. I thought that the ref had a decent game. Gave us advantage after the Ayari foul which lead to the Mitoma goal. Penalty was spot on. Pedro's goal ruled out was 50/50. Could have gone either way imo but at least he looked at it and decided JPVH fouled the Man U bloke.

Yes some of the niggly fouls were soft but that's par for the course in the PL, especially at OT.

Another win. Amazing from the team and fans
