That was all I asked for this morning, and I hope the whingers at 45 minutes (I was going to say bedwetters but now know better ) are feeling suitably embarrassed. A good performance against the Champions of the Premier League and European Champions League.

But I would rather they put 4,5 or 6 past us with no reply than what happened to Solly

Second highest scorers in the Premier League. Probably doing something right in our approach play.

I wonder what the record is for the combined most goals scored and conceded.

Think we have a good chance of taking a run at that record.

Brilliant character second half. They were really good first half and are the best side in the world. Huge credit, shame about the injuries - it’s just the full backs I’m worried about as we have enough attacking options overall.

Was a better second half but never felt like we were gonna get anything. I think Solly will be out for a while I’m afraid.

Tbh, it was odds-on that we'd lose, but we had hope in our 2nd half performance. Stop giving away so many early goals and we'd be laughing.
Whatever...to go there and make them sweat, after a 2 goal lead is no bad thing.

Firstly, really hope March's injury isn't too bad.

Secondly, your point is pretty much correct. However I do think it's a bit more general than that and it's not until the second half AND subs are made.

Making a habit of starting badly and it becomes difficult when we eventually wake up.

Great effort last 25 mins, City hanging on at the end but we set ourselves an uphill challenge by being subservient for the first hour or so.

Marseille , Athens and Chelsea are all very average. Big games ahead, need some wins on the board.
