Because he is the dullest player we have had since ...... since..... no actually, the dullest...... back pass after backpass,.. zero end product .. again.... 12 goals in nearly 190 games.... most ifvthose games as an attacking wide man.... dull.

I forget. Who scored the winner the last time we won in the league?

Well said. A very high quality performance from the Albion tonight against one of the best football teams in the world.

The Premier League is incredibly tough.

4pts from the next two games would be lovely.

Four points is essential.....particularly as defeats loom v Tottenham and Liverpool.

I haven’t read the thread since the game started but I have two things to say

1) Clive Walker your ex player contact is either thick or has an agenda if he thinks Potter has lost the dressing room

2) Anyone who moans about that performance needs to seriously consider finding a bigger club to follow

Getting passionate there Icy.....

Great performance.

MacAllister and Percy must start more games.....

From a wobbly fencer: Good performance tonight. Trossard in awful form (playing him against City probably not the best way to overcome that) and Dan Burn's time really has to be up. Lots of positives to take and one of those weird games (like United, Chelsea, Liverpool) that makes you think if Potter can replicate that against lesser opposition we'll be flying - needs to actually do it though. MASSIVE couple of games (Leeds and Fulham) coming up. Win those two (paired with a Spurs win tonight) and we'll be back on our way, if not, it could be real trouble.

From another pro-Potter poster here:

Excellent overall, not overawed, but again with no cutting edge at set pieces or in open play.[/QUOTE

No cutting edge in set pieces or open play. That's how we are under Potter. You are Pro Potter say hello to the Championship I hope you will be pleased with keeping the feckless moron.

See when people resort to comments like that then I can’t be arsed with it ..at least make a decent post about him

Nice game. Tau, MacAllister, White, Webster had great games. Sanchez, Burn, Dunk, Propper, Veltman, Bernardo had good games. Trossard, Maupay and March left more to be desired for me.

Question for me is who does Tau replace from our not so consistant starting 11...

Trossard.

More to the point who does MacAllister replace?

That’s more like it Kosh. It was a fabulous performance from the minnows. I bloody love this club

Exactly.

If we go to Leeds with that performance and attitude bottled (as it were) we will beat the bloody buggers!

God; that would be just the sweetest feeling in the world !!

We need positive vibes and plenty of them!

I am, I really do believe that some of our so called fans actually want us to do badly just so they can justify their negativity about this club. Un fecking believable. Tonight was a fabulous performance and with a bit of luck and cooler heads we could have come away with a point. Does anyone really EXPECT us to beat City, the same City who beat the current table toppers just a few days ago and haven’t lost for bloody ages?

It's not tonight though for me. It's the 2 wins out of 18 and not beating WBA, Sheffield United, Newcastle, Burnley, Villa, Southampton, Palace, West Ham at home in the past 12 months.

But at the end of the season your be able to remember that 1-0 loss to City fondly.....

We played well tonight I am amazed how Trossard and MacArgi looked pants a few days back against Newport but today it's a different story why is that, I hope it's not they only turn up for the big games!

Still can't take chances still need a target man Ho well we move on to Leeds
