I voted Ayari, he was everywhere yesterday, doing a lot of the spade work. It was between him, Veltman and Baleba but I voted for Ayari as he doesn't get as many plaudits as the others

He was a nightmare in the 1st half. To be fair we were shit though.

2nd half he led by example. Which is better.

You're far from alone in your view of the first half, but I thought we were a lot better than 'shit'. Had a higher xG than the Arse. If Adingra had the requisite PL composure, we'd have scored too.

I'd have voted Pedro, but his constant arm-flapping at the crowd got on my TITS. Look mate, just crack on with the game and do what you're paid handsomely to do - stick the ball in the bloody net. Otherwise, get some pom-poms and a crop-top, and mince around on the touchline like Avril Lavigne.

Anyway. The MOTM (not "player" ffs), was Veltman.

I really don't see why people don't rate Ayari, he is a bit light weight in some tackles but he is everywhere , does get his foot in a lot and generally gets the ball forward fast by runs or passing. He does need a more composure in the box but to me he's streets ahead of o'Riley, Wieffer (though he was beginning to look a lot better) and Ferdi and that might just be down to fact that he can stay fitter i.e. no good being brilliant but playing 10 games a season.
